2x Pair of Screw and wall plugs
Getting Started
Thermostat
Remove Back cover of the Thermostat, remove battery cover, and insert batteries. Replace battery cover.
Receiver
Using a small screwdriver, slightly loosen the screw located at the base of the RF-Switch. You can then carefully separate the front panel from the back plate.
Installation
The MIHO069-W Requires direct connection of the Receiver to the boiler for it to function. The Thermostat can be powered either by battery, or USB supplied power.
N.B. If the MIHO069-2 is not USB Powered, the Thermostat will provide updates every hour as opposed to every minute
Receiver Installation
- Turn Off and isolate the power to the combi-boiler, central heating supply or electric heater.
- Remove the existing thermostat, if fitted
- Position the backplate on the wall, fixing in place using screws provided.
- Terminate the cables to the Receiver as shown in the wiring diagram
- Connect the Live Neutral and Earth from the boiler (or existing thermostat supply) to the Live Neutral and Earth on the left side of the backplate.
- Connect the Live and Switched Live for your Room Thermostat connections to the Central Heating (CH) Normally Open (NO) and COM terminals on the connection box. If the cable is rigid, you should be able to insert them directly (Alternatively, use the Normally Closed (NC) terminal if it is required for your specific boiler).
- Connect the Live and Switched Live for your Hot Water connections to the Hot Water (HW) Normally Open (NO) and COM terminals on the connection box. If the cable is rigid, you should be able to insert them directly (Alternatively, use the Normally Closed (NC) terminal if it is required for your specific boiler).
N.B. Each manufacturer uses different connections on their boilers for the room thermostat and if you are unsure of the connections to your boiler, you should seek assistance from a qualified boiler installer.
Thermostat Installation
- Mark 2-hole positions on the wall using the back plate as a positioning template.
- Drill at the marked positions and insert a wall plug into each hole.
