The Energenie Solutions Temperature and Humidity Sensor is part of the automation range and allows you to monitor the environment locally and manage your central heating system

If you do not install and use in accordance with this guide (or the quick start guide) the warranty will be invalidated and Sandal Plc will not be liable for any damage or loss whatsoever, including indirect loss, damage to property or personal injury.
Please also do not leave packaging material lying around as children may be tempted to play with it, which could be dangerous.
Environment
This product is intended for domestic, commercial and light industrial use only and must only be used in dry areas indoors, and protected from moisture and water ingress. Please also read the Product Specification section in this guide for additional environmental considerations.
Nearby heat sources
Keep the product away from heat sources which can generate temperatures higher than the products operating temperature range, as specified in the Product Specification section.
Reliability
Your Energenie product relies on a good stable internet connection to function as intended. If the internet connection is poor, or at risk of dropping, or the product is out of range (over 30 m) from your MiHome Gateway, your device’s reliability will be impacted.
Interference from other radio transmitting products
Keep other electronic devices with radio transmitters, or appliances with motors, fans etc. away from the product; 1 metre separation distance is a general rule of thumb.
Disassembling the product
Other than to fit, remove or replace batteries, no part of the unit should be disassembled. The product does not contain any parts that can be serviced. If it arrives faulty or develops a fault while within warranty please return the product to where it was purchased from.

Installation
The MIHO119 Temperature and humidity sensor is intended for either surface mounting to your wall, or as a free standing unit. To mount the unit to a wall, first remove the battery cover and insert the two AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity. Reseal the cover.
Once the unit is ready to mount, choose the location on the wall based on the mounting position on the reverse of the unit.
The unit will mount onto a screw head no larger than7mm in diameter.
Setting local clock
To set the clock on the Temperature and Humidity Sensor;
Press the FUNC button to select CANCEL mode.
Long press FUNC button for 3 seconds, the week icon starts blinking, indicating it’s ready for setting.
Press +/ON or -/OFF button to set up a week information.
Press FUNC button to enter the hours setting, then press +/ON or -/OFF button to adjust the hour and set up the minutes as the same operation.
Press FUNC button again to confirm and exit the setting mode.
Pairing the Temperature and Humidity sensor
To pair the sensor to your account, ensure your gateway is online. On the account, select the gateway and choose the option x Pair New Device.
A new window will open showing all pairable devices. Select the Temperature and Humidity Sensor from the available options and select the Pair Device button.
A small pop-up will appear providing the pairing steps for the unit. Select the Start Pairing button to confirm and begin the process.
With the button on the portal pressed, press the+/ON and -/OFF buttons on the front of the humidity sensor simultaneously and hold them until the RF symbol begins flashing. Release the buttons and after a short time, the symbol should go solid and turn off. At this point the unit should have paired and will be visible on the dashboard.
You can re-name the Temperature and Humidity Sensor by selecting Manage. On the page that appears, enter a new name and then select the

Using the Web portal
You can adjust the target temperature on the server by selecting the SET button on the device tile for the sensor:
You can then adjust the adjust the temperature using the slider at the top of the page. The slider can be set between 12C and 30C
Using Local Control
The Temperature can be adjusted locally using the +/ON and -/OFF buttons
The server will update 4 seconds after you stop adjusting the temperature.
Setting Timers
Timers are set on the same page as the temperature.
Step 1
Select the +Add Timer option on the page to add a blank timer.
Step 2
Enter a time (in 24 hour format) with a colon ( : ) between the hours and minutes
Step 3
Select the days you want the timer to trigger on by highlighting as necessary.
Step 4
Select the drop-down box next to the days and select Set target Temperature.
Step 5
Enter the target temperature you want for that time. Ensure that the temperature is set between 12℃ and 30℃ (temperature must by entered as a whole number and not include a decimal point).
Step 6
When happy with your timers, select Set Timers to confirm.
Monitoring data
To view a historic log of temperature and humidity, select the Monitor option from the dashboard:
You will be taken to a new page.
On this graph, the temperature is shown in °C while the Humidity is shown in %.
Renaming your Temperature and humidity sensor
To rename your sensor, select the Manage option on the device tile.
You will be taken to a new page. Select the Device Name window and enter the new name.
Select Update Subdevice to accept the new name.
Unpairing your Temperature and Humidity Sensor
If you wish to un-pair your MiHome device, for example to move it to a new account, select the My Devices tab then follow the steps below:
Step 1
Select the x Unpair option on the device tile of the device you want to remove

A pop-up window will appear. To confirm the device should be removed, select OK.

Disposal
The crossed out wheelie bin symbol which is marked on your product indicates that the product must not be disposed of with regular household waste, but must be disposed of at your local recycling centre.
